Where did the idea from this novel come?
Graham P Clarke: The idea for this novel ‘The destroyer’ came from a mixture of things I’ve taken notice from people and other parts of evolution in my life and my imagination.

Graham P Clarke: I would classify it as a sci-fi.
What have been people’s initial reactions to The Destroyer?
Graham P Clarke: Peoples initial reactions have been it is compelling and eccentric.
How would you characterise the theological element contained within the novel? Sometimes it seems very Christian in its morality, at other times quite debauched, some would say blasphemous?
Graham P Clarke: The theological element in the novel is to celebrate what Jesus the Christ gave up for all of us and his memory.
It’s quite refreshing to have Newcastle featuring in a novel. Is this something that you would like to develop?
Graham P Clarke: Yeah, it’s positive to build on where we’re from.
How would compare the superheroes in The Destroyer with those with whom we are familiar?
Graham P Clarke: Greg will be viewed as someone who stops the murderers of people but who some people may want to soak in gunge, the others are closer to familiar superheroes.
Do you have plans for any other projects?
Graham P Clarke: Yes a children’s book and other ideas I've got for future books and movie pitches.
